I hope this isn't for real. Where is 'The Message?' Why the hell is Oochie Wally on there? Furthermore, I don't think these songs mesh well together to form a complete album. Fuck this...

Furthermore, where the fuck is "Live at the Barbeque" with Main Source, featuring one of the top 3 sickest intros in Hip-Hop history? How about "Nas is Like," his last great single? Or "Verbal Intercourse" with Ghost and Rae? This comp, if real, is clearly based on charts and not quality. And how the fuck did "Hate Me Now" make this cut, which even Nas would have to admit single-handedly stripped him of any speck of credibility he had regained after "Nas is Like" was released as the lead single off that album?

I can't even begin to discuss how much this guy has frustrated me throughout my life/his career. He is one of my favorites ever, and he should be on equal footing with KRS and Rakim, no problem, but he can't go two albums without fucking up.

You could go to the Exchange, buy all the shitty late-'90s/early-oughts albums from the $2.50 bin to get the three decent songs among them that appear on this comp, hang on to the "Lost Tapes" and "Illmatic", and be aiiiight. I concur; there is no reason to fucking buy this. Stupid.

I think this song is nerdy as fuck, but I'm kinda surprised "I Can" isn't somewhere on here. At least that video got played a couple times. Nothing from the new one either? Cosigning you and Mike, I'm preparing to call bullshit...

Yeah, I mean, I actually though "Hip Hop is Dead" as a whole was a lot better than anything he's put out in several years. At worst, that single was way better than a lot of the ones on this comp.
